根据房子的实际比例做出的样板房，用于预售房子时让买家参观。

由来
  • 英语 “showflat” 的意译。
  • 1991 年，建屋发展局（Housing and Development Board，简称建屋局）首次与宜家（IKEA）合作，向公众展示一种可行的室内装潢设计，为他们提供一些布置新居的灵感。在此之前，建屋局主要采用手册和空屋向民众介绍房子。
  • 2020 年，在新型冠状病毒疫情的影响下，为了符合阻断措施（Circuit Breaker）及保持安全距离政策，多数示范单位展场皆被强制关闭。在这种情况下，许多发展商转而利用网络平台为民众进行虚拟浏览与解答。
例句
未来三年将有 7 万 5000 多个新组屋单位竣工，即将搬进新家的屋主可以到建屋发展局翻新后的示范单位展示厅，为住家寻找装修灵感。（《联合早报》，29/1/2015）
