检测人体血液里所含有的酒精浓度的仪器。也称酒精测量器、呼气测醉分析器、呼吸测醉试验器。

由来
  • 测醉器主要用于检测司机是否涉嫌醉酒或酒后驾车。
  • 根据公路交通法令（Road Traffic Act），警方可要求任何涉嫌酒驾的司机用手提测醉器进行酒精检测。司机若拒绝检测，可被警方逮捕。
  • 2016 年，警方引进了移动测醉驾中心（Mobile Breath Evidential Analyser），该仪器可以在现场配合测醉器进行更为精确和及时的酒精检测。
例句
在一般邀请媒体的酒驾取缔行动中，交警会在多处设置路障，拦下可疑车辆，警员则会使用手提测醉器初步检测驾驶者体内的酒精含量，若初步检测不过关，驾驶者将送往警局接受进一步检测。（《联合早报》， 21/12/2017）
