  • 早在 1930 年代,《南洋商报》的新闻报道就出现 “巴士川行” 这个用法。

ETYMOLOGY
  • As early as the 1930s, the term “巴士川行” (buses moving) has appeared in news reports of Nanyang Siang Pau.
  • ” refers to a river, while “” means movement and flow. Thus, “川行” is used as an analogy for the flow of vehicles.
