Joanna Dong became a household name in 2017 after clinching the third spot in cult singing competition, Sing! China, under the mentorship of Asian superstar Jay Chou.
Since her win, Joanna has been a ubiquitous figure on local screens and stages. As a jazz vocalist, Joanna is passionate about promoting Mandarin Jazz to a mainstream audience, and has also expanded her repertoire into pop-crossovers in both Mandarin and English.
Singer and Art Practitioner
Ric Liu is a Singaporean actor, singer, director, playwright, photographer and designer. He is also from Singapore music groups, MengFM (formerly known as Dreamz FM) and The Lilac Saints.
Singer-songwriter, Soprano of MICapella
Kexin is currently a member of the biggest Asian Pop-rock Vocal Band "MICappella" and has written many songs for the band’s albums. Since her inception, the band has won various awards, toured internationally and gained a huge following online from their youtube covers.
Most recently in 2022, Kexin released her solo single 《我的 Party Time》Special Edition, in celebration of her 10th year in her singing career.
Kexin is also an entrepreneur and the founder of Sparkle Live Music, Singapore's premier live music provider for weddings and events.
After winning reality program Project Superstar 2014, Alfred Sim signed with Cross Ratio Entertainment, taking his passion for music further. Alfred has since released his debut self-titled EP in 2016 and held his solo rock concert at Esplanade Annexe Studio in 2017. His debut EP conceptualised his versatility in portraying different styles and vocal techniques, churning slow rock ballads to other tracks complementing the rock genre.
The power vocalist also delves into hosting and was part of YES933 as a part-time DJ host.
Lyricist, Author, Educator
Xiaohan is one of Asia’s most prolific and awarded Mandopop lyricists, having won over 30 awards for her lyrics. Xiaohan is also the first and only Singaporean lyricist to be nominated for the prestigious Taiwan Golden Melody Award and has written over 400 lyrics for artistes such as Eason Chan, Jolin Tsai, EXO, JJ Lin, A*Mei, Tanya Chua, Khalil Fong, Zhang Jie and Stefanie Sun.
Aside from writing, Xiaohan is one of the founders of music label “Funkie Monkies” with fellow songwriter, producer/musician Eric Ng. Together they had trained and groomed thousands of songwriters under the training wing FM Pop Music School. She is also the Creative Director of The Songwriter Music College, and also regularly gives talks to secondary school students to inspire them to improve their Chinese language through Mandarin songs.
Executive Director, The TENG Ensemble
Ji Wei is a multiple-award winning Sheng performer and an active advocate in the Singapore music scene.
As a conductor, Ji Wei has led many orchestras to achieve new heights of musical excellence at the Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging. He was the youngest conductor of a Gold Award winning school at the Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging 2005 and remained as the only conductor in Singapore with a stellar record of producing distinction awards for Chinese Orchestras over the last 10 years of his career.
In 2019, Ji Wei was invited to co-host the Mediacorp television programme At the Crossroad of Realities《华文华语。今天 明日》, where education and cultural practitioners from different walks of life reflected on the future of the Chinese language in Singapore.
