Co-organised by the Singapore Film Society and Centre for Chinese Studies, Singapore University of Social Sciences, the Singapore Chinese Film Festival (SCFF) is back for its fifth edition showcasing the eclectic and very best of Chinese Cinema.

From 28 April to 7 May, the festival will be screening more than 40 titles in four programme sections namely, Chinese Panorama - a selection of acclaimed and award winning feature films, Documentary Vision - a section on documentary films which puts the spotlight on personal stories and social issues and Chinese Shorts Showcase which will feature short films of up and coming Singapore filmmaking talents alongside the best short films from Hong Kong, Taiwan and China.  The final section this year will be a focus on Restored Classics which celebrates the restoration and preservation of Chinese cinematic heritage for new generations of film audiences.  Whether it is the major award winners or intimate personal films, this year's selection offers different perspectives of cinema for audiences to discover as we celebrate the fifth edition of SCFF.
