Falling on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month, Mid-Autumn Festival (also known as Mooncake Festival) is one of the most important festivals for Chinese communities around the world. Popularised during the Song dynasty, Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations have evolved with time to include modern adaptions of traditional practices. Rediscover the origins, legends, and customs of this ancient festival at the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall's Mid-Autumn Festival exhibition!
