由来
  • 英语 “corridor” 或 “gateway” 的意译。
  • 一般的廊道可用于连接两座不同的建筑物，或设在较大规模的建筑物的门口。
  • 2016 年，政府提出优先畅行廊道（Transit Priority Corridor）计划，将在传统公路的基础上，打造结合公交出行、脚踏车出行和步行的交通道路。其中，全長 21.5 公里的 “南北交通廊道”（North-South Corridor）将于 2027 年左右竣工。
  • 2020 年 9 月 26 日，时任副总理兼财政部长的王瑞杰宣布东海岸将开发长达 15 公里的中央绿色廊道（Central Green Corridor），连接东海岸公园（East Coast Park）和樟宜海滨公园（Changi Beach Park），途中也将联通其他的社区道路，建设生机盎然的绿色城市。
