An artform combining poetry and music that was created by Nanyang University students in the 1970s. Also known in Mandarin as “南大诗乐”.
“诗乐”一词也可指在《诗经》里使用的乐曲,而中国的乐府、楚辞、宋词、绝句等也可视为诗乐的一种。
The Mandarin term “诗乐” can also refer to the music used in The Book of Songs. The Yuefu, Chuci, Songci and Jueju can also be regarded as forms of poetry-music.
