  • 英语 “Student Pass” 的意译。
  • 在向新加坡移民与关卡局（Immigration & Checkpoints Authority）申请办理学生准证之前，该学生必须已收到所申请的学校发出的入学确认信。
  • 申请学生准证的条件和流程，会依学校的类别而有所不同。
  • 持有移民豁免令（Immigration Exemption Order）和短期访问签证 （Short-Term Visit Pass）的学生无需申请学生准证，但其报名的课程必须符合以下条件：

1. 必须在证件失效之前或三十天内结束；

2. 不能报名超过一门课程；

3. 不能是涉及到与客户互动，或是在营业场所（例如理发院）进行的职前培训课程。

ETYMOLOGY
  • The Mandarin term “学生准证” is a paraphrase of the English term “Student’s Pass”.
  • Before applying for a Student Pass with the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority of Singapore, students must have already received a letter confirming admission from the school which they have applied to.
  • The conditions and procedures for applying a Student Pass vary according to the type of school.
  • Students who hold an Immigration Exemption Order and Short-Term Visit Pass do not need to apply for a Student Pass, but the courses they enrol in must meet the following conditions:
  1. The course must end before the permit expires or within 30 days from expiry;
  2. The student cannot sign up for more than one course;
  3. The course must not involve interactions with customers, or must not be a pre-employment training conducted in business premises (such as a hair salon).
