Housing & Development Board (HDB) flats in Singapore with three bedrooms and a living room. Also known in Mandarin as “四房式组屋”.

由来
  • 自1960年成立以来,新加坡建屋发展局(Housing & Development Board,简称“建屋局”)便负责为普通民众建设廉价且高质量的公共住房。
  • 政府组屋的型式是依照睡房与客厅的房间总数划分。
  • 人们目前可直接向建屋局或在公开市场上购买四房式组屋。
  • 2020年的人口普查(Census of Population)报告显示,共有31.6%的国人居住在四房式组屋。
  • 四房式组屋的面积一般约90平方米,除了三间睡房和客厅外,还设有厨房、防空壕及厕所。三间睡房中面积最大的为主人房,房内还设有一间厕所。
  • 为了配合小家庭的需求,建屋局于1993年推出了一种面积比普通四房式组屋小的新型四房式组屋。
ETYMOLOGY
  • Since its establishment in 1960, HDB has been responsible for building affordable and good-quality public housing.
  • HDB flats are categorised according to the number of rooms in the flat, with the living room counting as one room.
  • Currently, 4-room flats can be bought from HDB or on the open market.
  • According to the Census of Population in 2020, 31.6% of Singaporeans live in 4-room flats.
  • The floor area of a 4-room flat is typically about 90 square metres. In addition to three bedrooms and a living room, there is also a kitchen, a bomb shelter, and two bathrooms. The largest of the three bedrooms is the master bedroom, which has an en-suite bathroom.
  • To cater to smaller families, HDB launched a new type of 4-room flat in 1993 which is smaller than the standard 4-room unit.
