The Kampong Sprit @ Toa Payoh is embodied in this year’s theme of “Semarak Budaya @ Toa Payoh”. Streamed on Facebook Live, there would be many activities catered to all age groups. There will also be arts related activities that encourage the use of Malay language while inculcating positive values to children and youths.

There will be an online poetry competition for primary and secondary school students. The competition also has an open category which allows anyone from any age group to participate. There will also be dikir barat and kompang performance by our own Interest Groups, and fun games for the audiences to participate in. The committee hopes to promote active use of the Malay language and to create an awareness and interest in the Malay culture and heritage.
