  • 源自广东话(广州话、粤语)chee cheong fun
  • 一般的做法是将米浆蒸熟后,卷成条状形。由于其形状与猪肠相似,所以得此名。
  • 猪肠粉是广东地道的传统小吃。颜色白如雪,厚度薄如纸,入口特别嫩滑因而著称。
  • 新加坡传统猪肠粉一般没有馅料,品尝时可以根据自己的喜好,选择不同的酱料沾着吃。
ETYMOLOGY
  • The Mandarin term originated from the Cantonese term chee cheong fun (literally pig intestine rolls).
  • Chee cheong fun is normally made by steaming a layer of rice milk until it solidifies, and then rolling it up into the shape of a cylinder. They are so named as the rolls resembled pigs’ intestines.
  • Chee cheong fun is a traditional Cantonese snack. Its appearance is as white as snow and as thin as paper. It is also known for its smooth and silky texture.
  • Traditional Singaporean chee cheong fun does not have any fillings. Instead, it is enjoyed with different sauces to suit ones’ taste and preferences.
