  • 英语 “cash deposit machine” 的意译。
  • 自动存款机具有点算钞票的功能,减少了以往客户在银行排队存入现钞所需花费的时间。
  • 1996年,新加坡邮政储蓄银行 (Post Office Savings Bank) 推出了东南亚第一台自动存款机。这台自动存款机设立在储蓄银行位于勿拉士峇沙路 (Bras Basah Road) 的总行。
ETYMOLOGY
  • The Mandarin term “自动存款机” is a paraphrase of the English term “cash deposit machine”.
  • A cash deposit machine is programmed with the ability to count banknotes, thus reducing the time required by customers to deposit cash as in the past they had to queue up at bank branches to do so.
  • In 1996, the Post Office Savings Bank (POSB Bank) of Singapore rolled out the first cash deposit machine in Southeast Asia. The machine was set up at POSB’s Bras Basah Road headquarters.
