释义

名词

模特儿在进行时装表演时走的步法。也称台步。

DEFINITION

Noun

A style of walking that models adopt during a fashion show.

由来
  • 英语 “catwalk” 的意译。
  • 猫步是时装模特儿的一种经典步法,据说和猫的步伐相似,因此得名。
  • 走猫步时,左右脚须轮番踩到两脚间中线的位置,或把左脚踩得偏右一点,右脚踩得偏左一点,如此一来便可产生一种韵律美,兼具典雅与轻盈的特质。
ETYMOLOGY
  • The Mandarin term “猫步” is a paraphrase of the English word “catwalk”.
  • The catwalk is a classic style of walking adopted by fashion models. It is said to be similar to the gait of a cat, thus the name.
  • When performing a catwalk, the left and right feet must alternately step on the middle line between the two feet, or the left foot can step slightly to the right and the right foot slightly to the left. This creates a kind of aesthetic rhythm that also gives a touch of elegance and levity.
