由来
对于 “邻里学校” 的概念，各界人士包括学者、教育部长、教师和学生都持不同的看法。 较为普遍的看法是，邻里学校指的是政府学校（government schools）或政府辅助学校（government-aided schools），一般与宗教或种族方面没有关联，并且设在公立住宅（组屋）区。
ETYMOLOGY
  • Different groups of people, such as academics, education ministers, teachers and students all have different views on what is a “neighbourhood school”.
  • A common view is that neighbourhood schools refer to government schools or government-aided schools, which are usually not associated with religion or race and established in a public housing (HDB) estate.
