The Tamil Language Festival (TLF) is the annual signature event of the Tamil Language Council (TLC). The TLF  2026 will take place from 28 March to 26 April. The 20th edition of the month-long festival will present a calendar of partner-led programmes and activities for the Tamil community, encouraging them to “Love Tamil, Speak Tamil”, to embrace their mother tongue and to use it in their daily lives. The festival will feature 43 programmes by 44 partners, as the community comes together to celebrate and promote the Tamil language in Singapore.

The theme for TLF 2026 is Eedupaadu (Involvement). Through this theme, the TLC aims to inspire all segments of the Tamil speaking community to appreciate, experience and enjoy the Tamil language, culture and heritage.
