A centre for the research and display of artefacts and information of the overseas Chinese. It is located in the Nanyang Technological University campus in Singapore.

由来
  • 华裔馆的所在地为前南洋大学的行政楼，由新加坡建筑师黄庆祥设计。1995年5月17日举行开幕典礼。华裔馆的董事均为世界各地商界、学术界和公共服务界杰出的华人代表。
  • 华裔馆在1999年12月被列为国家古迹。华裔馆也是全世界首个专门研究海外华人的大学研究中心，其运作主要靠私人捐赠者和政府辅助金的资助。
  • 作为一所研究中心，华裔馆的其他设施还包括王赓武图书馆与海外华人博物馆。
ETYMOLOGY
  • Located at the Administration Building of the former Nanyang University, the Chinese Heritage Centre (CHC) was designed by Singaporean architect Ng Keng Siang. The centre was officially opened on 17 May 1995. The CHC’s international Board of Governors comprises of prominent Chinese representatives from the business, academic and public service sectors.
  • The CHC was gazetted as a national monument in December 1999. It is also the first university research centre, which focuses on the study of overseas Chinese. Its operation is mainly funded by private donations and government grants.
  • As a research centre, the CHC has other facilities, including the Wang Gungwu Library and an overseas Chinese museum.
