  • 英语“lot”、“site” 或 “land parcel” 的意义。
  • 现今，在高度发达的新加坡社会里，地段被赋予了更多的商业意义。例如新加坡的商贸聚集区、银行证券业聚集区和风景名胜区等，大多被称为黄金地段。
ETYMOLOGY
  • The Mandarin term “地段” is a paraphrase of the English terms “lot”, “site” or “land parcel”.
  • Today, in the highly developed society of Singapore, districts have more of a commercial significance. For example, most of the trading, commercial, banking and financial hubs, and scenic spots and tourist attractions in Singapore are known as “prime districts”.

SAMPLE SENTENCE
