  • 公路电子收费系统主要由三个部分组成：车内的阅卡器、收费闸门和管理系统。
  • 实施这项收费制度的目的是调节汽车流量，新加坡也是首个推出此系统来管理车流量的城市。
  • 新加坡陆路交通管理局（Land Transport Authority）于1998年实施收费制度，当局根据地区、路段、时间和车种，制定详细的收费标准。
ETYMOLOGY
  • The Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) system is made up of three major parts: the in-vehicle unit (IU), the ERP gantries and the management system.
  • Singapore was the first city in the world to use ERP to manage traffic flow.
  • Singapore’s Land Transport Authority (LTA), which introduced the system in 1998, sets ERP rates according to the area, road section, time and type of vehicle.
