  • 参加新加坡剑桥普通教育证书 (普通水准) (Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Examination Ordinary Level,简称“O水准”) 会考的学生可以在取得成绩之后申请进入两年制的初级学院 (junior college) 或三年制的高级中学 (centralised institute)。
  • 大学先修班的课程主要侧重于三个领域:
    1. 生活技能 (Life skills),如课程辅助活动 (Co-curricular Activities);
    2. 知识技能 (Knowledge skills),如英文理解与写作 (General Paper);

ETYMOLOGY
  • The Mandarin term “大学先修班” is a paraphrase of the English term “Pre-University education”.
  • Students who sit for the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (GCE O-Level) examinations can apply to enrol in a junior college or centralised institute after receiving their results.
  • Pre-University courses focus on three main areas:
    1. Life skills, such as Co-curricular Activities.
    2. Knowledge skills, such as General Paper.
    3. Subject disciplines, such as Languages, Humanities and the Arts, and Mathematics and Sciences.
