MAGO is an annual story telling competition aimed at promoting story telling in a fun, engaging and creative fashion. Telling stories is a time-honoured, age-old practice and it’s one of the best ways to promote art appreciation and love for the Tamil language. 

The objective of the competition would be to :
- Help our younger ones connect to our immediate past, and cherish the Tamil culture and history in the context of the present-day world. 
- Amaze audiences with surprising nuggets of insights about the everyday things we take for granted. 
- Inspire a more informed society which appreciates the beauty in cultural exchanges between different languages & cultures in Singapore's cosmopolitan society.
