A judicial position that assists the judges in handling and managing important matters, such as case procedures, in the courts.

由来

汉代就已经有 “主簿官” 一职，但指的是负责主管文书簿籍及印鑑，起草文件等文书事务的官职。
新加坡的主簿官归属于新加坡法律服务部（Singapore Legal Services）的司法部门管理（Judicial branch），并被委派至各法院担任相关的司法工作。
在新加坡的司法程序中，主簿官主要起到管理案件和辅助主审法官的作用。

ETYMOLOGY

The position of “主簿官” existed since the Han Dynasty but then referred to the official position in charge of clerical matters such as managing records, book-keeping, seals, and drafting of documents.
In Singapore, the position of the Registrar is within the Singapore Judicial Service.
In Singapore’s judicial process, the Registrar mainly manages cases and assists the presiding judge.
