由来
  • 油槽车主要用于有效并安全地运输液体燃料。油槽车体型大，所以每次可以储备和运输大量的燃料以应付庞大的需求量。
  • 根据陆路交通管理局(Land Transport Authority)的规定，运送柴油的油槽车不得在隧道内行驶。
  • 驾驶油槽车的司机需要考取相应的重型车辆驾照。根据法律，65岁以上的司机必须取得医生证明，并通过路考，才能继续驾驶油槽车。75岁或以上的人士则不得驾驶油槽车。
ETYMOLOGY
  • Tanker trucks are used to efficiently and safely transport liquid fuel. Their large size allows them to carry large quantities of fuel.
  • The Land Transport Authority stipulates that tanker trucks transporting diesel fuel are not allowed in road tunnels.
  • Tanker truck drivers must hold a heavy vehicle driver’s licence. In addition, those over 65 must obtain a doctor’s certificate and pass a driving test. The age limit for tanker truck drivers is 75 years old.
