The Speak Mandarin Campaign "My Story" Public Speaking Competition is an island-wide oratorical competition targeted at students between 13 to 18 year old. The Competition aims to encourage students to express themselves creatively in Mandarin, through a sharing of their personal stories and experiences.
Jointly organised by the Speak Mandarin Campaign and Noon Talk Media for the first time, the Inaugural Speak Mandarin Campaign "My Story" Public Speaking Competition has successfully concluded. A total of 12 Finalists were selected at the Auditions stage and the Winners emerged during the Grand Finals held on 15 July 2017 at the Rock of Ages Auditorium, Zhaolim Building.

Sharing Session
A sharing session took place on Saturday, 10 June 2017 at the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall. Renowned DJ, Lin Lingzhi and artiste, Michelle Tay were invited to share tips on public speaking. They also shared their own stage experiences.
Preliminary Round
The Preliminary Round took place on Saturday, 17 June 2017 at the Rock of Ages Auditorium, Zhao Lim Building. Participants shared their own stories based on the theme "My Singapore" and the stories shared vary from the participants' aspirations to their own personal experiences.
