A total of 1,268 family teams signed up for the competition this year. 26 teams from three categories were shortlisted at the Preliminary Round, and Winners were selected at the Grand Finals on 28 May 2022.

Participation Criteria and Categories
- Parent(s) and/or grandparents(s) and child(ren) must form a team. Each team is to comprise a minimum of two, OR up to a maximum of four members.
- Participating children will have to be between five and 12 years of age. For any other participating children below five years of age, their performance will not be graded.
- All participants must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.
The Competition will feature three categories. If you are signing up with more than one child, please register according to the age of the elder/eldest child.

Preliminary Round & Grand Finals
Teams will record a four-minute performance in Mandarin based on the theme "Myself, Ten Years From Now” and submit the video by 3 April 2022 for judging in the Preliminary Round.
The Grand Finals will take place on 28 May 2022.
Performance Theme
The theme for this year’s performance is "Myself, Ten Years From Now".

Workshop Sessions
To help you prepare for the competition, we will be conducting virtual workshop sessions. During the workshops, trainers will share some basic and useful performing techniques such as voice projection and stage presence. Interested participants can sign up for these sessions during registration.
