Thank you to all participants who took part in the Speak Mandarin Campaign Family Talent Competition 2026! We hope that you have had a pleasant and meaningful experience preparing for the competition.
A total of 632 family teams signed up for the competition this year. 26 teams from three categories were shortlisted at the Preliminary Round, and Winners were selected at the Grand Finals on 16 May 2026.

Participation Criteria and Categories
- Parent(s) and/or grandparents(s) and child(ren) must form a team. Each team is to comprise a minimum of two, OR up to a maximum of four members.
- Participating children will have to be between five and 12 years of age. For any other participating children below five years of age, their performance will not be graded.
- All participants must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.
The Competition will feature three categories. If you are signing up with more than one child, please register according to the age of the elder/eldest child.

Preliminary Round & Grand Finals
Teams will put up a four-minute performance in Mandarin based on the theme "Our Neighbourhood” at the Preliminary Round on 11 April 2026.
The Grand Finals will take place on 16 May 2026.

The theme for this year’s performance is "Our Neighbourhood".

Workshop Sessions for Shortlisted Finalists (only)
To help shortlisted finalist teams prepare for the Grand Finals, workshop sessions will be conducted in-person. During the workshops, trainers will share basic and useful performing techniques such as voice projection and stage presence.
