A traditional kopitiam, rich in history and heritage, is forced to confront the changing circumstances in our society. How should the elderly owner of the kopitiam deal with the impending loss of his shop, the departure of family and friends as well as the pressures from society?
Adapted from Kuo Pao Kun’s 1986 play “Kopitiam”, this experiential and interactive theatre performance will immerse the audience in the kopitiam culture, allowing them an inlet to this important aspect of our country’s culture and history.
