新加坡的第一条夜间巴士路线为八达巴士公司 (Trans-Island Bus Services Ltd) 的“午夜巴士” (NightRider),于2000年3月10日推出。该巴士从市区川行至义顺,途经大巴窑、碧山及宏茂桥组屋区。
The first late-night bus service was the NightRider, introduced by Trans-Island Bus Services Ltd on 10 March 2000. The service began its route in the city and terminated at Yishun, passing through the residential estates of Toa Payoh, Bishan and Ang Mo Kio.
