  • 英语 “regional library” 的意译。
  • 淡滨尼区域图书馆（Tampines Regional Library）是新加坡的第一家区域图书馆。该图书馆于 1994 年开幕，最初坐落于淡滨尼第七道（Tampines Avenue 7）。2017 年，该图书馆正式迁入淡滨尼天地（Our Tampines Hub）。
  • 新加坡目前一共有三个区域图书馆，分别位于淡滨尼、兀兰（Woodlands）以及裕廊（Jurong）。第四座位于榜鹅（Punggol）的区域图书馆目前仍在兴建中。
ETYMOLOGY
  • The Mandarin term “区域图书馆” is a paraphrase of the English term “regional library”.
  • Tampines Regional Library is the first regional library in Singapore. It opened in 1994 and was originally located along Tampines Avenue 7. In 2017, the library moved to Our Tampines Hub.
  • There are currently three regional libraries in Singapore, in Tampines, Woodlands and Jurong. A fourth regional library was opened in Punggol in 2023.
