  • 淡滨尼区域图书馆(Tampines Regional Library)是新加坡的第一间区域图书馆,面积是一般图书馆的两倍。该图书馆于1994年开幕,最初坐落于淡滨尼七道(Tampines Avenue 7)。2017年,该图书馆正式迁入淡滨尼天地(Our Tampines Hub)。
  • 新加坡目前一共有四间区域图书馆,分别位于淡滨尼、兀兰(Woodlands)、裕廊(Jurong)及榜鹅(Punggol)。
ETYMOLOGY
  • Regional libraries, being larger in size compared to regular branch libraries, are able to not only offer a wider collection of books and services, but also accommodate more visitors.
  • Tampines Regional Library was the first regional library in Singapore and was twice the size of the usual branch library. It opened in 1994 and was originally located along Tampines Avenue 7. In 2017, the library moved to Our Tampines Hub.
  • There are currently four regional libraries in Singapore – in Tampines, Woodlands, Jurong and Punggol.
