  • 源自福建话（闽南语）tuā-i。
  • 大衣特指男性的西式上衣或西装，这是有别于其他地区如中国大陆所指的较长的西式外衣。
ETYMOLOGY
  • The term originated from the Hokkien (Minnan) dialect term tuā-i.
  • The term refers specifically to Western-style tops or suits. This is different from its use in other regions such as Mainland China, where it refers to longer Western coats.
