  • 2020年至2021年间,由于受到冠病疫情的影响,淡米尔语文节改为在线上举行。
ETYMOLOGY
  • The first Tamil Language Festival was organised by the Tamil Language Council in 2007.
  • Every year, the Tamil Language Council collaborates with community partners, government organisations and schools to organise the month-long Tamil Language Festival to promote Tamil among the Tamil-speaking community.
  • The tagline of the festival is “Love Tamil, Speak Tamil”.
  • In 2020 and 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Tamil Language Festival’s programmes were organised online.
