  • 淡马锡初级学院，简称淡初，成立于 1977 年，现今校址坐落在 22 勿洛南路（22 Bedok South Road）。
  • 淡初是新加坡第二所国立初级学院。
  • 由于注重校园绿化，淡初的校徽在设计方面以绿色背景为主，象征着清净绿化的校园环境。“绿园”这一别称由此而生。
ETYMOLOGY
  • Temasek Junior College (TJC), founded in 1977, is currently located at 22 Bedok South Road.
  • TJC is the second junior college to be established by the government in Singapore.
  • Due to its emphasis on greening on campus, TJC’s school crest is designed with mainly green background, symbolising a clean and green campus environment. This gave rise to the college’s alternative name of “绿园” (meaning “green campus”).
