Housing and Development Board (HDB) flats in Singapore with two bedrooms and one living room. Also known in Mandarin as “三房式组屋”.

由来
  • 自 1960 年成立以来，新加坡建屋发展局（简称建屋局，Housing and Development Board）便负责为普通民众建设廉价且高质量的公共住房。
  • 政府组屋的型式，是依照睡房与客厅的房间数量总和进行划分。
  • 在 1960 至 1965 年间，约三成的组屋为三房式组屋。当时所兴建的组屋皆为租赁式组屋，三房式组屋的月租为 60 新币。
  • 人们目前可通过建屋局或在公开市场上购买三房式组屋。
  • 根据 2020 年的人口普查（Census of Population）报告显示，共有百分之 17.7 的国人居住在三房式组屋。
  • 三房式组屋的面积一般约 66 平方米左右，除了两间睡房及客厅，还设有厨房、防空壕及厕所。两间睡房中面积较大的为主人房，房内还设有一间厕所。
  • 1989 年，建屋局为了把当时剩下的八千多间三房式组屋售出，便决定停止兴建三房式组屋。2004 年，建屋局再次在盛港西（Sengkang West）推出 156 个新的三房式组屋单位，售价介于八万至 11 万元之间。
ETYMOLOGY
  • Since its establishment in 1960, HDB has been responsible for building affordable and high-quality public housing for the common people.
  •  Types of government flats are distinguished according to the total number of rooms, which includes living rooms and bedrooms.From 1960 to 1965, about 30% of public housing flats were 3-Room flats. At that time, only rental flats were built and the monthly rent for 3-Room flats was S$60.
  • Currently, 3-Room flats can be bought from HDB or on the open market.
  • According to the Census of Population in 2020, 17.7% of Singaporeans lived in 3-Room flats.
  • The area of a 3-Room flat is typically about 66 square metres. In addition to two bedrooms and a living room, there is also a kitchen, a bomb shelter, and toilets. The larger of the two bedrooms is the master bedroom, which has an en-suite toilet.
  • In 1989, HDB decided to cease the building of 3-Room flats, to sell the approximately 8,000 remaining units. Later in 2004, HDB relaunched its 3-Room flats with 156 units in Sengkang West, with prices ranging from $80,000 to $110,000.
