Noun

The desire or interest to buy.

由来
  • “购兴”一词较常用于股票、房地产、原材料等市场。
  • 早在1950年代,“购兴”一词便已在报刊上使用。例如,在1959年5月3日的《南洋商报》中,一则新闻便提到“据称兀耶公司对天然胶有相当购兴”。
ETYMOLOGY
  • The term “购兴” is primarily used in the context of buying stocks, real estate or commodities.
  • The term appeared in local newspapers as early as the 1950s. For example, a news article in Nanyang Siang Pau on 3 May 1959 reported: “Wu Ye Company is said to have considerable buyer interest in rubber.”
例句
电脑与电信仪器以及手表珠宝的销售额同比分别挫跌8.5%和6.3%,这可能显示新加坡热卖会(GSS)没提振消费者对这些产品的购兴,又或者是四年一次的世界杯球赛,在球赛期间引开了购物者对这方面的注意。(《联合早报》, 11/8/2018)
SAMPLE SENTENCE
Sales of computer and telecommunications equipment, as well as watches and jewellery, fell by 8.5% and 6.3% year-on-year, respectively. This may indicate that the Great Singapore Sale failed to boost buyer interest in these products, or that the quadrennial soccer World Cup had diverted shoppers’ attention. (Lianhe Zaobao, 11/8/2018)
