由来
  • 英语 “cluster housing” 的意译。
  • 1993 年，时任国家发展部长胡赐道宣布推行两种新的房屋建筑，其中就包括聚落式排屋。
  • 建造聚落式排屋是为了提供更多元的房屋方案供国人选择，也让屋主能够在清幽的环境中享有高端的住宅体验。
  • 聚落式排屋不仅在价格上比独立洋房（bungalow）亲民，设施也如公寓（condominium）般齐全。
  • 本地的首个聚落式排屋项目位于兀兰（Woodlands）。
  • 在本地，聚落式排屋属于分层地契有地住宅（strata-titled landed property）。
  • 2014 年，市区重建局（Urban Redevelopment Authority）对分层有地住宅（strata landed property）的建筑规划做出了调整。其中最大的变化是规定共享设施应占总建筑面积的45%，比之前的 30% 多了 15%。在这 45% 的面积中，娱乐设施可占最多 20%，环境绿化则需占至少 25%。
例句
所谓的聚落式排屋表面上是有地住宅，但售卖的是和公寓一样的分层地契（strata floor area），它也和公寓一样，设有游泳池、健身室、篮球场、烧烤炉等公共设施。（《联合早报》，9/3/2000）
