  • 新加坡人最常使用的停车固本是在1980年代推出的,最初司机必须在停车固本上写下停车的日期、时间和地点。

ETYMOLOGY
  • The term is the transliteration of the English word “coupon”.
  • Parking coupons are widely used in Singapore. They were introduced in the 1980s. Initially, drivers had to write down the date, time and place of parking on the parking coupon.
  • Parking coupons subsequently evolved, and drivers were only required to tear off circular tabs on the coupons to indicate the dates and times of parking, then display them on the front of the windscreens for inspection.
