《现代汉语词典》虽收录了“草场”一词,但主要指长有牧草(天然或人工)的大片土地。新加坡的草场则一般都是人工的,而且不能放牧。
Although the term “草场” is listed in the Modern Chinese Dictionary, it mainly refers to pasture land. In Singapore, “草场” are generally artificially turfed and cannot be used for grazing.
