  • 油槽船主要用于有效并安全地运输液体燃料。除了船，用于运输液体燃料的车辆也称为油槽车。
  • 根据新加坡海事及港务管理局（Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore）的规定，所有油槽船皆需要申请执照，而油槽船的执照是以 “SB” 开头。
  • 根据引火点的不同，油槽船承载的石油可分为三类：“A” 类的引火点为少于 23 摄氏度（包括液化石油气）；“B” 类的引火点为 23 至 60 摄氏度之间；“C” 类的引火点为 60 摄氏度以上。
ETYMOLOGY
  • Oil tankers are mainly used to transport liquid fuel effectively and safely. In addition to ships, vehicles used to transport liquid fuel are called “油槽车”(tank cars).
  • According to the regulations of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, all oil tankers must apply for a license, which starts with “SB”.
  • Petroleum products carried by oil tankers can be categorised into three classes, based on their different flash points: Class A for a flash point below 23 degrees Celsius (including liquefied petroleum gas), Class B for a flash point between 23 and 60 degrees Celsius, and Class C for a flash point above 60 degrees Celsius.
