A temporary structure build during the construction process, for renovation workers or construction workers to perform their job at height.

  • 早期的鹰架材质以木为主,如今则普遍被金属所取代。
  • 鹰架上设有工作台,方便工人进行建筑工作。
  • 1982 年,劳工部(今人力部,Ministry of Manpower)与国家生产力局(National Productivity Board)联办了“金属鹰架研讨会”(Seminar on Metal Scaffolding)。
  • 研讨会上,时任劳工部政务次长叶尧清在致词时,便提到劳工部将提出立法,鼓励建筑工厂采用金属鹰架。
  • 根据新加坡工作场所安全与卫生(鹰架)法令(Workplace Safety and Health (Scaffolds) Regulations 2011),鹰架必须由授权的承包商搭建。任何高于两米的鹰架都必须设有脚趾板以及栏杆,以策安全。
ETYMOLOGY
  • Early scaffolds were primarily constructed with wood. Today, this is generally replaced by metal.
  • Scaffolds are equipped with working platforms for workers to carry out construction work.
  • In 1982, the Ministry of Labour (now Ministry of Manpower) and National Productivity Board jointly organised the Seminar on Metal Scaffolding.
  • During the seminar, then Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Labour Eugene Yap mentioned in his speech that the Ministry of Labour would legislate to encourage construction sites to adopt metal scaffolding.
  • Under the Workplace Safety and Health (Scaffolds) Regulations 2011, the construction of scaffolds must be done by authorised contractors. Any scaffold higher than two metres must be equipped with toe boards and railings to ensure safety.
