  • 行善计划的筹办与实行并不限于特定的组织或团体，凡是与慈善事业有关的项目皆可称为行善计划。
  • 在新加坡的语境下，“行善计划” 一词也可视为 “日行一善计划” 的简称。日行一善计划也称“新加坡行善运动”，是一项鼓励国人更自觉地表现善心、亲切友善待人的计划，旨在建立更优雅的社会。
  • 总体而言，行善计划可分为物质与非物质两类。前者包括捐钱、捐物品、捐食品等，后者则包括陪伴乐龄人士、为他人提供精神和情绪的支柱等。
  • 新加坡大部分的行善组织与团体皆曾与新加坡教育部（Ministry of Education）、国家环境局（National Environment Agency）、资讯通信媒体发展局（Infocomm Media Development Authority）等多个政府机构合作，推出多个行善计划。

ETYMOLOGY
  • The term “行善计划” can encompass various kinds of charity-related activities and is not limited to specific organisations or groups.
  • Campaigns can be categorised into two types: tangible and intangible acts of charity. The former include donating money, items, and food products; the latter include accompanying senior citizens and supporting others emotionally and psychologically.
  • Charity groups typically collaborate with Government agencies – such the Ministry of Education, National Environment Agency and Infocomm Media Development Authority – in implementing their kindness campaigns.
  • Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel launched a year-long kindness campaign in May 2013 to raise charity funds for the Seed Kindness Fund.
  • Values in Action (VIA) programmes in schools can also be seen as a type of kindness campaign. Students may plan and implement charity projects individually or with their peers, or take part in charity programmes organised by their schools. Schools have made use of kindness campaigns to encourage students to be pro-active in helping
    others and to inculcate moral values.
