由来
  • 英语 “mini” 的音译。
  • 因为 “迷你” 一词比 “小型”、“微型” 等词语更具表现力，因此较常用作为前缀的词语，而且使用范围十分广泛。例如：迷你雨伞、迷你相机、迷你手机、迷你模型等。
  • 在新加坡，迷你也可用于修饰已经是小的或小型的指称对象。例如，位于武吉巴督的 “小桂林” 原是模仿中国桂林山水而建，但距离 “小桂林” 不远处的另一类似景色则称之为 “迷你小桂林”。
例句
载着三个大人和一名女婴的迷你巴士在雨天转弯时失控撞断栏杆，栽进两米深的沟渠，一名乘客因此颈椎骨折。（ 《联合早报》，16/3/2022）
