  • 在福建话里，好命也有投胎到富贵人家的意思，但也可以指过世， 例如 “我的老公去年去好命了”。
  • 新加坡的 “Goodlife” 乐龄中心（非正式华文名为 “快乐中心”）被一些乐龄人士以福建话取了 “好命中心” 的小名。虽然有读者认为 “好命” 一词粗俗不优雅，但中心的发言人表示不同意，认为这里的好命是指 “健康长寿，生活富裕，子孙满堂”。
