A venue used for horse racing. Also refers to a venue for horse betting.

由来
  • 位于新加坡西北部的克兰芝（Kranji）马场是新加坡唯一的马场。
  • 在新加坡，一般在马场看赛马比赛的人都会在合法的情况下下注赌马。
  • 然而，实际上也有部分赌徒在赛马场以外的场地进行非法的赌马活动。因此，人们也将这些地方比喻为 “马场” 。
ETYMOLOGY
  • The Singapore Turf Club or Kranji Turf Club is located at Kranji in the northwest of Singapore and is the only racecourse in the country.
  • In Singapore, people who watch horse races at the racecourse generally place bets on the horses legally.
  • However, there are also gamblers who conduct illegal horse-betting activities at venues other than the racecourse. People also referred to these venues as “马场”.
