A kind of dragon dance that can glitter in the dark in flow with the dance choreography, with the use of luminous paint.

由来

在 1966 年和 1967 年之间，已故的林明发和制龙师傅梁宣华钻研出夜光龙。
夜光龙必须涂上夜光漆，之后由全身黑衣黑裤的舞者配合着舞步来控制。
1967 年，公众第一次在繁华世界体育馆（Gay World Stadium）内观赏到夜光龙的表演。
从此之后，夜光龙扬名四海，从新加坡传到国外多个国家，如马来西亚、菲律宾、印尼和中国等。

ETYMOLOGY

Between 1966 and 1967, the late Lim Meng Huat and dragon dance prop maker Leong Shin Wah created the “luminous dragon”.
To be luminous, the dragon has to be painted with glowing paint, then manoeuvred by dancers dressed completely in black according to choreography.
In 1967, the public watched the luminous dragon dance performance for the first time at Gay World Stadium.
Since then, the luminous dragon dance has become known far and wide, spreading from Singapore to many countries such as Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia and China.
